Exploring the art of motion! Our Painting & Drawing students are using pendulum painting to create colorful, one-of-a-kind spiral designs.
6th grade Social Studies students explored human-environment interaction by creating a web of connections!
8th graders enjoying some sunshine in math class - human graphing to learn about inputs and outputs!
Getting to know each other, one name (and one laugh!) at a time! This 8th grade Advisory group is building connections and community through a little fun.
7th grade Advisory students created “All About Me” hexagons that came together by matching shared interests and experiences…creating one big display that shows how we’re all connected!
One knot. One challenge. One team. Health & Wellness students worked together to untangle a giant string knot, then put their collaboration skills to work as they collectively lifted a tennis ball using their string “spokes.”

- Thank you to those who attended the 6th and 7th grade Open House events! We loved seeing you in our classrooms and hallways! And we heard from so many parents how appreciative they were of the evening.
- We look forward to meeting our 8th grade parents/guardians at our upcoming 8th Grade Open House on Tuesday, September 1, 6:00-7:45pm

Chromebook Insurance - by September 4:
- The enrollment window for Chromebook insurance is open and available through September 4, 2026 at the cost of $25.

Final Forms - Student Forms
- Please take a moment to check that your child has signed their Final Forms. We have a number of middle school students who have not yet done so.
- They’ll have an email from Final Forms that they can click on to access it easily.
Middle School Clubs and Extracurricular Activities:
- In Final Forms, you may have signed up to receive email communication regarding certain clubs and activities at HMS. If you didn’t, no worries - it’s not a requirement.
- Once those clubs begin, information will be shared on our morning announcements for students, and can also be viewed on our website: HMS Announcements.
- Our clubs haven’t yet started, but look for information to be shared in advance, once they’re ready to begin.
