The Week in Review at HMS: Notes from Dr. Cockley
Week of August 25, 2025
The “Lean In Effect!” When something is just so engaging that students can’t help but lean in! 6th grade science students learn about observations and inferences through a really cool lab!!
Learning a new language is all about practice! Our Spanish students are building confidence by asking and answering "All About Me" questions with their peers.
Painting and Drawing students put the finishing touches on their pendulum paintings…while enjoying the sunny day!
Be sure to check out the Hudson Connects Weekly video this week - our 8th grade PE students and teachers provided some fun energy in the background with a resounding “Go Explorers!”
Celebrating our incredible Hudson Middle School community! We're thrilled to announce that we've been named a 2025 AMLE School of Distinction, an honor given to just 24 schools this year. This award recognizes the AMAZING work of our students, staff, and families, and we couldn't be prouder! Check out this brief video about what makes our school (and community!!) so special! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlCXIVmGjVo
