The Week in Review at HMS: Notes from Dr. Cockley
Week of February 2, 2026

Thank you to our Hudson Police Department, in collaboration with Hudson Community First, for their presentation for parents/guardians at HMS on Wednesday, February 4: "What You Don't Know and Why You Should." Phenomenal information! We are so fortunate to have such dedicated individuals in our community who support the positive growth of our youth! THANK YOU!

When a picture is worth a thousand words…and one book title! Students stopped in the hall to check out the new media center bulletin board and guess the book from the image!

X’s and O’s! Our sculpture students are reimaginingTic Tac Toe with personalized designs that show off their artistic skills and creativity. Can’t wait to see their finished products!

Lights, camera, collaboration! Our 7th grade scientists are bringing The Journey of a Water Molecule to life, working together to explore the water cycle and using GoogleVids to creatively tell the story!

Game on! After learning the skills, rules, and techniques, PE students kicked off their first day of gameplay in the Pickleball unit - let the tournaments begin!

A comfortable space for thinking - our 6th grade Language Arts students are using their Team Learning Area to spark creativity during essay writing!
