6th Grade students participate in Digital Citizenship lessons in our media center, with Mrs. Kingan! Such an important topic for our students!
Students create artwork inspired by artist, Alma Thomas, using a reference image they’ve outlined on the Chromebook to create their own masterpieces with analogous colors, and tints and shades!
Poetry Gallery Walk in Language Arts class! Students select two poems to read and analyze, in their collaborative groups!
In Language Arts, students comfortably work together in the Team Learning Area! Here they are reading an informational text (about Pez!) and discussing the content together.
Welcome future 6th graders! Our HMS Showcase and 5th Grade Orientation included student-led tours, a student panel, and performances and descriptions of all of our AMAZING electives offerings! Thank you to all who made this event possible!

- Chromebooks should ALWAYS be in their district-provided protective cases. Willful and deliberate damage is not covered by insurance, which includes removing the frame, picking off keys, writing anywhere on the device, and more.
- For more information about Chromebooks and insurance coverage, please visit https://www.hudson.k12.oh.us/departments/technology/11-insurance-information.
- Thank you for your help in promoting positive Chromebook care!
