Week of October 28, 2024
Congratulations to these outstanding student athletes!! These 10 members of our girls HMS Cross Country team competed in the state championship in Dublin, where they placed 1st in their division! We are so proud of them! Thanks to Mayor Anzevino for recognizing their accomplishments!
The “Lean In” effect - we love to see our students so engaged in what they’re learning! 6th grade Scientists explore minerals in their Identification Lab, determining the name of the mineral by testing/observing a number of characteristics.
These global connections are so inspiring!! Our 6 Honor students Zoom with students at the Orkeeswa School in Tanzania, to begin their partnership in learning this year! Amazing opportunity for all!!
In Advisory, our students made a Kindness Chain, writing what they can do to help make their school a safer place and/or a quality that makes them unique and proud of who they are as individuals. The foundational message is: even though we are all different, we are all a part of this community.
6th grade students collaboratively create artwork as a community, focused on spreading kindness in our school!
Thanks to our HHS HUDDLE Mentors for working with our students on healthy life-style choices! We appreciate your positive leadership and service!
7th Grade Science students are determining the calories of a cheese ball using mass and thermal energy!
So much fun seeing our students’ and staff members’ creativity for Halloween! A chance to be ourselves and have some fun!
