Week of October 14, 2024 - DC
A HUGE THANK YOU to our staff chaperones for our DC trip this past week with our amazing 8th grade students. The trip was a tremendous success, and our students were outstanding. This trip could not happen without our staff, and I just want to say how grateful I am that they are willing to give up time with their families for our students. And, wow, were our students phenomenal! Thank you, 8th graders, for being kind, respectful, and engaged as we visited our nation’s capital.

HMS Announcements - Please feel free to visit this site daily for up-to-date announcements for our students and school!
HMS Report Cards - Friday 10/25
-
Each quarter the report card is available electronically in HAC. For the first quarter, because it is the first report card of the year, we also will send home a paper copy with students on Friday, 10/25.
-
If you’d like to print directly from HAC, click on the Grades icon in HAC. Once there, click on the Print button in the upper right corner to view the Report Card on our official middle school report card template. You can then choose to print, save, or simply view the report card.
-
At Hudson Middle School, we calculate Honor Rolls only at Semester 1 and Semester 2.
Holiday Sharing 2024
HMS is collecting canned food items – 10/14 through 11/20. Students are asked to bring in non-expired canned goods for donation. Since these cans will be used long past Thanksgiving, please consider donating a variety of foods (click here for a detailed list of requested items). Science teachers will be collecting the cans in their classrooms.

Playground Equipment and Lunchtime Games Donations:
-
If you would like to donate new or used playground equipment for our middle schoolers, we would greatly appreciate it! Our students enjoy just being outside, and playing with soccer balls, basketballs, playground balls, and tennis balls. In addition, our PTO Bookstore would gratefully accept any donations of games (complete sets, gently used or new) like Connect Four, Chess, Uno, Taco Goat Cheese Pizza, etc.
-
Kindly drop off your donation to our middle school main office. Thank you so much for considering!
