Week of February 10, 2025
Congratulations to Runner-Up, Ben Donatelli, and HMS Champion Speller, Rithi Hegde, for their accomplishments in the HMS Spelling Bee! All of our spellers did an incredible job at the competition, and we are so proud of them! Rithi and Ben, both 8th graders, earned their titles in a final written round of the HMS Bee. Rithi will represent Hudson Middle School at the Regional Bee in Akron on March 15!
Students show their fun, creative side, as they use digital Algebra tiles to combine like terms in an area model!
Through generous grant-funding, our 6th grade students had the incredible opportunity to see a traveling art exhibit and to learn from a Holocaust survivor, Mr. Stanley Bernath, during their visit to the Maltz Museum. "Using artificial intelligence (A.I.), the Maltz Museum has captured the life story of an ordinary man who survived extraordinary circumstances as a child survivor of the Holocaust. Stanley Bernath lost everything but he never gave up hope, eventually building a new life in Cleveland. For over 40 years Stanley shared his story with audiences across Ohio” including visiting with us in-person at Hudson Middle School in 2017!

2024-25 HMS Yearbook - Student Name
- In our school yearbook, student names are typically printed as they appear on their birth certificate.
- If the birth certificate name is OK to print for your child, you do not need to complete the form.
- If you prefer that a different name appear in the yearbook for your child, please complete this Google Form by February 14 (for example, if your child is known by their middle name rather than their first name).
