Congratulations to these 6th grade students who were honored for their art and writing at the 37th Annual Akron-Summit Holocaust Commemoration and Award Ceremony last week!
Spanish students welcome a guest speaker to their class, who shared with them about her home country of Guatemala!
Our 3rd annual AI Exploration Day at HMS! Thanks to our AMAZING experts and mentors for engaging our students in learning! We welcomed guest presenters from University of Akron, The Ohio State University's ICICLE program, and more! The top teams from today's Challenge will have the opportunity to visit The OSU CAR (Center for Automotive Research) program this month, to tour the facility, participate in robotics activities, and observe a demonstration of a self-driving car!
One of our teams held a DaVinci Day! Students participated in a variety of cross-curricular stations, including measuring the flights of whirligigs, exploring linear perspective and nature journaling!
Thank you to guest speaker / parent Mr. S. for working with our students who volunteered to write thank you cards to WWII veterans. Mr. S. will soon be traveling to Normandy, France, with the thank you cards for a week-long celebration of the American, British, Canadian and other allied veterans celebrating D-Day and the liberation of France.
Learning about honeybees and honey from resident beekeeper, Mrs.Fagan! Students learned about environmental factors that influence local honey flavor!
Congratulations to Mike Fejes, who was honored as the PTO Teacher of the Year at the annual PTO Luncheon!

- Musical Monday: Represent your favorite artist, concert, musical, or music performance!
- Twist It Up Tuesday: Wear your craziest, mix and match clothes!
- Wish Upon A Start Wednesday: Dress up as your favorite Disney character, or wear something Disney inspired!
- Tropical Thursday: Time to break out those bright colors, sunglasses and sun hats - warm weather is coming!
- Fourth of July Friday: Dress in red, white and blue as we look toward summer!
Class of 2029 Families - Hudson PTO 8th Grade Party Friday May 9th, 7-10pm
- Rolling out the red carpet for the Class of 2029! Next Act, High School! 8th Grade Send off Party on Friday, May 9th 7-10pm at HMS. $25 early registration till 11:59pm May 8th. $30 at the door cash or card. An amazing group of volunteers have been busy planning a very fun and special night for our teens! We will have a DJ, Karaoke, Inflatables, a Video Game Truck, Chick-fil-A and photo ops ready for our stars plus more! Everything is included in this night of fun!
