Week of September 4, 2023
A LIFE-CHANGING program: “Hands of Gratitude” in our Service Learning & Careers course! Students learn about the need, the incredible worldwide network of people who make this happen, and our recipients. 3D printing technology at work to help create a prosthetic hand for individuals across the world! In 7th grade Science class, students explore kinetic and potential energy through roller coaster creation!
It's the Mercantilism game in 8th grade American History. Students learn the challenges of developing their countries despite trade limitations and restrictions. What a fun and engaging way for students to learn about trade and mercantilism!
6th Grade Social Studies students played a "Hedbanz" review game with geography vocabulary!
Medical Detectives students learned about the importance of communication in the lab by arranging the steps to make a grilled cheese sandwich … which Mrs. Fritsch then followed :-) They learned that No Communication = Disaster; and Communication = Success!

Playground Equipment and Lunchtime Games Donations:

If you would like to donate new or used playground equipment for our middle schoolers, we would greatly appreciate it! Our students enjoy just being outside, and playing with soccer balls, basketballs, playground balls, and tennis balls. In addition, our PTO Bookstore would gratefully accept any donations of games (complete sets, gently used or new) like Connect Four, Chess, Uno, Taco Goat Cheese Pizza, etc.
